Dr. Patricia Paddison is a psychiatrist who opened her own practice June 2003 in the Bellevue, Washington area after a 12 year relationship with Virgina Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Her specialties include the treatment of women's psychiatric disorders such as PMS, medications during pregnancy and postpartum, perimenopausal depression. Her interests include the interface of neurotransmitters and hormones and the effect they have on behavior. She has a growing psychopharmacologic practice and frequently lectures on the treatment of refractory depression. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Dr. Paddison completed her residency and fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. She is also the author of many textbook chapters; the most current being "Hormonally-related Mood Disorders: PMS & Depression in Pregnancy,

VISITING THE OFFICE
All patients will be seen via video remote tele-psychiatry to keep everyone safe. All patients must be scheduled for the appointment by traditional methods (phone or patient portal).
Prescriptions: To refill, please call your pharmacy and request it Faxed to 425-484-2200 with Patient name, medication, date of birth, milligram dose, pharmacy name, pharmacy (area code) + fax number. Prescriptions will be filled only during office hours. No meds will be refilled on Fridays and weekends. Requests for refills beyond scheduled intervals will be charged a fee.
Medical Insurance: Co-pays must be paid at the time of the visit or an administrative charge of $25 will be added to the bill. You are responsible for phoning your insurance company to clarify your benefits, authorizations, referrals, and interviews that your insurance company may require. At the time of your first appointment, all arrangements must be completed or cash payment made. Insurance must pay promptly. There are many different insurance plans and managed care companies and policies can be confusing. Be sure you understand the mental health benefits of your plan.
Billing Services: Northwest Clinical Billing Services handles all insurance claims. Please track your monthly statement indicating what is owed by your insurance company and the balance of what you owe. Contact your insurance claims office concerning your unpaid balance. Specific questions regarding "patient balance due" on your account should be directed to Linda by phone 360-491-8002 or fax 360-491-8007. Payments not received after 120 days are subject to collections. A $2/month charge will accrue for accounts over 60 days. There will be a $25 charge for each returned check.
